detritus dance is a multimedia performance collective that amplifies intersectional feminist and queer story-telling through contemporary dance, collage, and text. Our movement research draws from a vast body of feminist scholars and artists whom we join in working towards dismantling patriarchal systems through subversive gender performance. Through our performance, collaboration, and story-telling, we aim to expand the lens of gender expression and foster more equitable creative spaces for artists in Boston.
