Gabriela M. Amy-Moreno (She/Her)
Gabriela M. Amy-Moreno is a native of Boston, MA, where she currently is a freelancer. Coming from a family of dancers, she was introduced to dance at a young age. Gabriela began her early training at The West Roxbury School of Dance and Boston Arts Academy and then continued on to The University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she received her BFA in Contemporary Dance.
Since 2019, Gabriela has been a guest dancer for Rachel Linsky’s Zachor, a project that seeks to preserve WWII holocaust survivor stories through dance. Gabriela has also danced professionally with Boston Dance Theater (May 2019 - Dec 2021). Since becoming a freelancer, Gabriela is looking forward to connecting more with the Boston dance community. Recent local engagements include: performing at the 2022 Boston Dance Alliance Gala in honor of her father Ramon de los Reyes who received the 2022 Dr. Michael Shannon Dance Champion award, performing with Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion at the Rose Kennedy Greenway, joining The Click for the premiere of Kristin Wagner’s ‘make light: or how I survived it all” at The Foundry, and more.

Marcel Santiago Marcelino (He/They)
Marcel Santiago Marcelino is a queer Dominican and Puerto Rican dance artist born in Boston, MA. Marcel lived part of his childhood in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico before returning to the states. In Puerto Rico under the instruction of his father Jorge Santiago Arce and cultural pioneer Modesto Cepeda Brenes, Marcel began his life-long relationship with Bomba, one of the first Afro-Indigenous music and dance forms of the Archipelago. His movement practice is heavily influenced by the language of Bomba as well as other Caribbean, contemporary and improvisational dance methods. He is a Director’s Scholarship recipient and 2021 BFA graduate of the University of the Arts School of Dance, Dir. Donna Faye Burchfield. During his undergraduate studies, Marcel spent part of a semester studying classical and contemporary dance at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza "María de Ávila" in Madrid, Spain. During his time at UArts, he collaborated and performed in work by Lauren Bakst at the Camping Dance Festival in Paris and Lyon, France. He has also had the pleasure of performing works by Katie Swords-Thurman, and Juel Lane. In 2021 Marcel joined Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (Philadelphia) and danced with the company as an apprentice for one season. In 2022, he returned to Boston and joined Urbanity Dance as a company dancer and faculty member. He also currently dances with companies Danza Orgánica, under the direction of Mar Yael Parrilla, as well as BeHeard.World, directed by Anna Myer. Recently, Marcel and fellow collaborator Anito Gavino were recipients of the MAPfund Grant to research and explore historical and cultural bridges between the Philippines and Puerto Rico, two archipelago’s with strongly tethered colonial histories. He is currently collaborating with Detritus Dance for their newest upcoming work ‘Malefica’.

Laila J. Franklin (She/They)
Laila J. Franklin (she/they) is a freelance multidisciplinary dance artist based in Boston, MA. Her choreographic work has been commissioned by Brown University and Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and presented through Public Space One, Loculus Collective’s Sideways Door Festival, School of Contemporary Dance and Thought, and Movement Research at The Judson Church. Her performance credits include work with Miguel Gutierrez, Stephanie Miracle, and Melinda Jean Myers. Laila holds an MFA from the University of Iowa, a BFA from The Boston Conservatory, and is a proud alumna of Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

Sophie Lane (They/Them)
Sophie Lane is a professional Illustrator/Designer based in Philadelphia, PA. Graduating from The University of the Arts in 2020, they enjoy creating dynamic, whimsical subject matter. They also specialize in utilizing a mixture of ballpoint pen and digital illustration in their work. Their clients include Sceyence Studios inc, Sonny’s Chicken, Humid Creative Agency, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Sophie created a stop-motion animation using their own illustrations and other Roman Catholic iconography for detritus dance’s work “in the Ether”.
Projection Design
Callie Chapman (She/Her)
Callie Chapman is a multi-disciplinary artist focusing on the intersections of media, dance, design, and experience through time. She has directed Zoe Dance Company since 2002 and has danced for 20 years with Prometheus Dance. Callie's work has been seen on proscenium stages, on and in building facades and windows, in scaffolding, on streets, on 3 40 foot LED head silhouettes, in studios, as part of festivals, and in pools and bodies of water. As a media artist, she has designed projection for dance, opera, and orchestra and continues to be fascinated by the prospect of designing light on surfaces in a performance context. Her favorite places to be are in a dark room, or under the waves. Callie has received multiple grants, fellowships, residencies, and awards including the Massachusetts Cultural Council's 2020 fellowship in choreography, the Boston Center for the Arts Dance Residency, the Boston Foundation's NextSteps Grant, multiple fellowships from the Somerville Arts Council, and a grant from RedBull.
As an arts administrator for 20 years, Callie has worked for organizations such as Boston Dance Alliance, and founded Studio at 550, a multidisciplinary arts studio. She also has consulted with other non-profits in designing systems and branding elements for the organizations. Callie currently is the Arts Space Coordinator for the Somerville Arts Council.
Lighting Design
Andrea Sofia Sala (She/Her)
Andrea Sofia Sala (she/her) is a Latina Lighting Designer, Production Manager, and Mover currently based in Boston, MA. Originally from Northern Mexico, Andrea grew up in San Antonio, TX enveloped in the arts dance world. She then moved up to snowy Massachusetts to get her BFA in Lighting Design and minor in Engineering Sciences, specializing in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. She has had the privilege to work with incredible companies and institutions, including Dance Theater of Harlem, Urban Bush Women, Jacob’s Pillow, The Yard, Central Square Theater, Fresh Ink Theater Company, and many local dance artists in Boston and New York. Andrea is currently the Lighting Supervisor for Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Production Manager for Fresh Ink Theatre, as well as freelancing as a Lighting Designer/Production Manager.
